A.I.S.H.I.T.E.R.U
Chapter 1 ♥ Akime ; Afraid
//ne… if you can guess my age… maybe… I will then try to love you//
“Akime! Table 27!” a middle aged lady called out to a young looking lass with brown hair and a pair of light orange pupils
wearing a short silver dress n a pair of stiletto heels. She swept her hair up into a messy bun and traced a stray hair and
tucked it behind her ear, and strut down the aisle turning every head towards her. She could hear her heart thundering in her ribcage as she approached the table she was assigned. Finally, she reached a table where a few girls who were
dressed skimpily sat around the table clinging onto some men wearing suits of black.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Akime.” Akime bowed. The drunken men in hues of cherry blossom pink chuckled as they
surveyed her hour glass figure. Akime nodded and sat on the couch and listened to the group nonsensical slurs of
speech. She glanced around and saw a young man wearing a midnight blue suit with dark copper red locks hovering
over his eyes seating alone across the room.
“Interesting.” Akime pondered as she continued to eye him. Deciding to abandon her current company, Akime arose and
approached the lad.
“Akime, what’s yours?” Akime introduced herself. The lad turned and stared at her. His dark maroon orbs hiding a certain unreadable emotion as he swiftly surveyed her.
“Sui” He nodded before turning back to gulp down his Perry cocktail.
“How old?” Akime asked as fiddled with his locks subconsciously. Within a heart beat, Akime’s hand was snatched away. The lad glared at her and stood up making Akime stumble back.
“What about you?” Sui asked as he glared at her.
“Do… don’t you know that it’s rude for you to ask a lady for her age?!” Akime stuttered in rage as she yanked her hand away and turned ready to stomp out but his warm hand grabbed her wrist and spun her around.
“I love you.” He whispered as he launched his lips towards hers. But instead in coming in contact with her strawberry flavoured lips, he instead came in contact with her lotion scented hand.
Sui smirked as he dug into his pockets and pulled out his leather wallet and pulled out a bunch of 100 dollars notes. Without a single hesitation, she launched at his lips and lip-locked as she snatched the notes away from in his clutch.

Akime woke up in a suite. She glanced at her side and saw a lad lying beside him with his eyes closed. She slightly brushed his hair aside as she watched him sleep peacefully.
“I’m sorry…” She apologized in an inaudible whisper. Akime immediately picked up her clothes and put them on.
“You’re leaving?” Akime turned and saw Sui seating on the white sheets. His eyes stuck on the snow white bed sheet.
“Sorry…” Akime whispered as she reached for the door.
“I love you! Dammit!” Sui yelled angrily.
“Sorry… I can’t love you. You cannot love me either…” Akime shook her head as she looked gently at Sui.
“If sorry could make this things erasable… How happy I will be…” Sui whispered as he clenched his chest. Akime took a
glance at the rising sun. She could feel her fear built up as the sun slowly climbs up to brighten up the blue sky
“Are you going to give up?” Akime demanded, her eyebrows furrowing. Sui glared at her.
“Over my dead body.” Sui spat. Akime looked at Sui.
“Fine, guess my age, and I will try to love you.” Akime gave up and grabbed her metallic blue clutch and slammed the
door – not in rage, but in urgency. She descended the carpeted stairs as she dug into her clutch and fished out her black framed sunglasses as she embarked on the crowded pathway.
//My life is just like a ticking time bomb... how I wish the ticker will stop ticking.//

Akime finally reached a mansion painted in a brilliant hue of peach pink. Akime stood at the front gate and gulped. Softly, she pushed open the front metal gate praying that they had missed her absence. Tipping toe, she quietly pushed open the big Victorian style door and entered. As she took as step into the dimly lit house. As she took a step into the grand looking house, the creaky floorboards below her creaked in the eerie silence.
“You’re late.” A cold deep voice echoed around the house. Akime looked up and saw a silver haired man looking down at her. A hiss escaped his pale purple lips. Akime felt chills run down her spine. She clasped and released her fist to prevent herself from suffering from a panic attack.
“Tadaimasu.” Akime bowed for a heartbeat as she said it politely and calmly – so calm that even she too was surprised by her calmness. Swallowing her fear and shock, she turned and started to walk away from the hall. A snap broke the atmosphere of silence and 2 pair of hands immediately yanked her back.
“My… what a naughty girl. Who said you could go?” the gay-looking guy broke into a sadistic smile.
“Let her go.” The sadistic gay smirked.
“Aye, Arzeal sama.” The two green hair lads chorused and threw Akime onto the dull pink marble tiled floor. Akime grunted as she hit onto the cold hard floor. A younger boy with wavy green hair immediately rushed to Akime’s side.
“Sting niisan, Shani niisan, Stop it please.” The younger boy pleaded.
“Shut up Nicol.” Shani, the elder of the siblings growled as he kicked him in his chest.
“Shani!” Arzeal growled. “Nicol.” Arzeal said calmly as he beckoned him to come to him. Shivering slightly, Nicol slowly ascended the stairs.
“Yes Arzeal sama, how may I help you?” Nicol asked as he struggled to keep his voice steady.
“You can help by shutting your crap up!” Arzeal bellowed as he slapped Nicol making him tumble down the flight of stairs. Arzeal broke into a sadistic laugh.
“Ah, what a waste of time.” He chuckled as he turned to grab his black leather coat. “Oh well, take care of her.” Arzeal instructed as he descended from the stair case. When he reached the ground floor, he walked to the hat-stand and retrieves a white fedora hat.
“Oh, but please, don’t kill her. I still got use of her.” Arzeal smirked before leaving the door.

Akime moaned as Nicol rubbed the pale yellow cream over Akime’s bruises.
“Cold…” Akime shivered at the cold touch.
“It will become warmer.” Nicol promised as he continued to rub the cream on he bruises. True enough, the cream indeed get warmer.
“Hot...” Akime growled as she sank her nails into Nicol’s hand. Nicol slowly dislodged her grip and surveyed her with his magenta orbs.
“You don’t look well…” Nicol whispered as he brushed his hand across her cheek.
“Really?” Akime asked as she took Nicol’s hand and rubbed it with the cream.
“URGH!!!” Nicol suddenly burst out and earned a hard hit on his head.
“Shut up and keep still” Akime growled.
“Sorry… but whenever I think of how Sting nii san and Shani nii san hit you, I will always get angry.” Nicol apologized. Akime paused all movement for a heartbeat before looking at Nicol.
“Really?” She finally asked as she closed the tub of cream. Nicol nodded as he reached out to take the tub.
“Why?” Akime asked as she passed the tub over.
“Don’t know…” Nicol shrugged.
“Oh…” Akime whispered. Nicol not noticing the sudden change of Akime’s behaviour looked around her room and caught sight of a picture in a bear picture frame resting on her bed-side table. Nicol arose from her bed and walked to the picture frame and picked it up. In the picture, he saw a family seating on Chinese style chairs around a round table.
“Is this you?” Nicol asked as he brought the picture frame to Akime and pointed his finger at a young girl with brown hair that was cut in a bob with striking orange eyes and a brilliant smile wearing a doll-like dress. Akime took the picture frame from Nicol and looked at it. Tears welled up her eyes as she looked at the picture.
“Yes. This is my family.” She whispered as she gave a faint smile. Her eyes looked hollow as though she was travelling
through time and looking at her childhood.
“Where are they?” Nicol asked.
“Gone… They died in a car accident. Now I only have my grandmother left… But she’s in last stage cancer…” Akime
replied as she looked up and stared at the painted pastel green wallpaper.
“So you’re working for Arzeal sama to get the money for your grandmother’s medical bill?” Nicol guessed.
“You got it right.” Akime laughed miserably.
“Aren’t you scared?” Nicol asked, his voice relatively gentle.
“I am.” Akime laughed.
“I’m so scared… every time I hear a clap of thunder, I will be so frightened. Every time I see a stranger with me, I will get very frighten. Every time I see Arzeal sama, I will become very scared. I’m scared of what Arzeal sama asks me to do…
I’m so scared…” Akime confessed as her little frame shook.
“Don’t worry…” Nicol mumbled as he rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped his hands around her. “I’ll protect you…” Nicol swore in an audible whisper.

Akime pulled her metallic silver dress over her head. She turned and saw a on the bed laid a black haired man. She sighed as she slipped into her purple trench coat and placed her metallic blue flats on. She reached out and grabbed a black scarf. While wrapping it, she paused as a face flashed to her mind. She sighed and pushed open the hotel room
door and saw a lad leaning against the wall with a Victorian wallpaper.
“Speak of the devil.” Akime groaned silently to herself. “What do you want?” She asked as she continued walking down the hallway which was beautifully adored with a checkered pattern carpet.
“Age 20, actually turning 21 this month” The lad recited. He gazed at the direction where Akime was walking and saw that she had stopped walking. Smirking, he approached her.
“So?” He pressed.
“What are you doing here Mizuhara?” She sighed as she looked at him in the eyes.
“Shit, how do you know it’s me?” The lad cried.
“You think I never went to school that I did not know that the kanji of water has two pronunciation, ‘mizu’ and ‘sui’? Plus do you not think that I can’t see how similar you look like to that idiotic Mizuhara from my hometown?” Akime snapped
angrily. “Why are you here?”
“I love you.” Sui whispered as his determined eyes fell upon Akime.
“You can’t.” Akime shook her head. “I’m tired of telling you this over and over again. Give up.” Akime sighed as she walked pass Sui.
“I can’t forget!” Sui yelled. He turned his head to look at Akime and ran to face her.
“What’s wrong? Why can’t I love you? You are still treating me like a kid right?” Sui yelled. Akime’s demeanor immediately changed. She looked at Sui sadly.
“You… do you love somebody else?” Sui asked. Akime looked up and saw Sui’s eyes trailing the floor.
“I…” Akime started.
“Sorry, I was reckless. I won’t find you again. I’m sorry. Farewell.” Sui croaked. Sadness overwhelming him, tears started to fall from his dark maroon orbs. He looked at Akime looking for a chance of salvation but Akime remained silent. Akime could feel her heart sour as she saw Sui’s tears. Seeing the result, Sui smiled a sad smile. He reached out and thug on Akime’s black scarf. Akime stared at him and Sui replied with a weak smile. Akime held his hand and begged him silently not to. Sui shook his head. Slowly, Sui gently unwrap the jet black scarf and stuffed it into his coat’s pocket and walked on.
Akime stared as Sui walked down the broad corridor. As his silhouette shrank, she felt her heart clench. She leaned
onto the wall and slid down. Tears which were held back for so long finally fell.

“A cup of Bloody Mary…” Akime mumbled. As she slammed her empty Whiskey cup on the counter.
“What’s wrong?” A girl with long black hair tied into a pony tail asked as she put another cup down in front of Akime.
“Miruko… I saw Mizuhara…” Akime confessed.
“Eh? Mizuhara? Isn’t he…” Miruko gasped. Akime looked at Miruko and sighed.
“So? Where is he?” Miruko asked. “It’s been so long since I saw this brat.” Miruko laughed
“I told him to give up on me…” Akime whispered.
“Eh?! But… I thought you have always loved him.” Miruko asked as surprise washed over her like a flood.
“I know…I love him… but… I’m just not worthy for him… I…I gave up on him… it’s for his good! It’s for my good! Heck! It’s for everybody’s good! Me being with him will just give him more pain.” Akime burst in frustration.
“And who is to decide that? You? Fate?” Miruko challenged.
“Its common sense! Who will be happy being with a lady who sleeps around with guys every night for money?!” Akime
yelled.
“Love betrays common sense. When on earth will you realize this? If men strive, we can change our destiny.” Miruko sighed as she turned to clean a wet cocktail cup.
“Should I really try?” Akime asked as she stared at Miruko.
“What do you have to lose?!” Miruko laughed.
“My heart.” Akime grunted as she ordered another cup of Bloody Mary. “That idiot… where do you think I can find him?” Akime asked as she stared at her full whiskey cup.
“Why don’t you try the
“That wasn’t a date!” Akime blushed.
“Haha… aye, why not you tell that to the world. ‘I was alone with a boy and we went to Chinese garden alone’ and see how they respond.” Miruko teased.
“Look, it wasn’t a date.” Akime huffed as she arose from her seat and grabbed her metallic blue clutch and strutted out of the dimly lit bar.
“Hey! Your bill!” Miruko yelled furiously as she saw Akime waved her hand. “Geez… this girl.” Miruko grumbled as she cleaned her spot.
“Ganbatte…” Miruko encouraged in an inaudible whisper.

In the light of the weak moonlight, the trees that adorned the pathways of the garden. Akime tightened her grip on her coat as she braved through the strong cold wind of the late night. She looked around and saw a lad whose hair shone in a hue of crimson red under the full moon’s moonlight.
“Mizuhara monsieur.” Akime called out. The lad turned at the sound of his name.
“Mizuhara monsieur, surely you aren’t expecting me to run to you right?” Akime grumbled as she indicated her high heels. Laughing, the lad stood up and turned to Akime’s direction and walked towards her. When the distance between them became less than 100m, Akime suddenly ran forward. Not looking at the road, Akime tripped on a pebble and closed her eyes as she braced for impact. But that impact never came. Akime slowly opened her eyes and saw Sui holding her panting.
“Geez, don’t give me this kind of shock again please.” Sui panted as he looked at Akime. Patting the dust off his pants, he offered his hand to help Akime up. But Akime refused and looked away.
“Okay, bye.” Sui bade and turned. Suddenly, he felt something hard hit his back.
“Do you mind?” He heard Akime whisper softly in his ear.
“Do you mind me, such a dirty woman, to love you?” Akime continued. Sui immediately stepped one step forward and turned around and saw Akime looking at him.
“You look beautiful…” Sui whispered as he embraced her.
“You’re choking me…” Akime giggled.
“I’ll never let you go…” Sui promised. “Never ever…”
